Riyadh Municipality Begins Installing Signage Honoring Imams and Monarchs in 15 Squares in Riyadh

The Riyadh Municipality has begun installing road signs bearing the names of prominent Imams and Kings in fifteen main squares in the capital city. This initiative demonstrates the leadership’s commitment to highlighting national symbols that have played a significant role in the building and development of Saudi Arabia, aiming to commemorate their contributions and strengthen the country’s national identity.
Following a directive from King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, field teams have started installing the signs in the squares and modifying the corresponding names to expedite the process and ensure the Municipality’s readiness. This effort aligns with Riyadh Municipality’s strategy to enhance national identity in public spaces and contribute to achieving the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 by showcasing the historical and cultural values that shape the nation.
