Border patrol forces in the southern sector of Dhahran in the Asir region have apprehended Ethiopian nationals for smuggling 59 kilograms of marijuana. The necessary legal procedures were completed, and the individuals along with the seized drugs were handed over to the relevant authorities.
Furthermore, border patrols in the Ruba’a sector in Asir thwarted the smuggling of 525 kilograms of khat, a narcotic plant. Similar legal procedures were followed, and the confiscated drugs were turned over to the appropriate authorities.
In addition, border patrols in the Da’ir sector in Jazan arrested four Ethiopian nationals for smuggling 90 kilograms of khat. The necessary legal processes were carried out, and the individuals along with the seized drugs were handed over to the authorities.
