Head of Integrity Commission Meets with Head of Independent Anti-Corruption Agency in Hong Kong to Discuss Collaboration

The President of the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority, Mazen bin Ibrahim Al-Khamous, welcomed the President of the Independent Commission Against Corruption in Hong Kong, Danny Woo, and his accompanying delegation at the Authority’s headquarters today. This visit aims to enhance the memorandum of understanding signed between the two countries, focusing on cooperation in fighting cross-border corruption crimes and promoting integrity.
During the meeting, discussions were held on ways to collaborate between Saudi Arabia and Hong Kong in protecting integrity, enhancing transparency, and combating corruption. The President of the Independent Commission Against Corruption in Hong Kong was briefed on the significant measures undertaken by the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority in these areas, while sharing Hong Kong’s experience with his counterpart.
In conjunction with the visit, the President of the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority, along with the President of the Independent Commission Against Corruption in Hong Kong, inaugurated a 4-day workshop attended by experts from both agencies. The workshop aims to facilitate knowledge exchange and cooperation between the two entities in the fight against corruption.
