Border Patrol Units in Jazan, Asir, and Najran Regions Thwart Smuggling of Various Narcotics

Border patrols in the Al-Harth sector of Jazan region seized 209 kilograms of the drug khat. The confiscated items were handed over to the authorities after initial legal procedures were completed.
In addition, border patrols in the Al-Dayr sector of Jazan region caught 3 Yemeni nationals smuggling 100 kilograms of khat. They were also processed according to legal procedures and handed over to the appropriate authorities along with the seized items.
Furthermore, in the Al-Raboua sector in Asir region, border patrols intercepted 176 kilograms of khat. The necessary legal procedures were carried out, and the confiscated items were handed over to the relevant authorities.
Moreover, in the Shurura sector of Najran region, Ethiopian nationals were arrested for attempting to smuggle 9 kilograms of marijuana and 2970 tablets subject to medical trading regulations. Legal procedures were followed, and the individuals along with the seized items were handed over to the competent authorities.
