Similarly, another citizen was arrested in the Tabuk region for trafficking 9,893 regulated medical tablets, prompting his detention, legal action, and referral to the public prosecution.
Authorities urge individuals to report any information they have about drug smuggling or trafficking activities by contacting “911” in Makkah, Riyadh, and the Eastern region, and “999” in other areas of the Kingdom. Reports can also be made to the General Directorate for Drug Control at “995” or via email at 995@gdnc.gov.sa, with reassurance that all reports will be treated with utmost confidentiality.
