The seized items included 94 types of drugs such as cannabis, cocaine, heroin, and amphetamines, as well as 792 other prohibited substances. Additionally, the customs points thwarted 2341 cases of tobacco and its derivatives, 45 cases involving financial amounts, and 6 cases of weapons and their accessories.

The Saudi Customs Authority emphasized its commitment to tightening customs control on the Kingdom’s imports and exports to ensure the security and protection of society. This is done through continuous cooperation and coordination with all relevant partners. The Authority urged everyone to contribute to combating smuggling in order to safeguard society and the national economy by contacting them through the designated security hotline “1910”, the email “1910@zatca.gov.sa”, or the international number “009661910”. Through these channels, the Authority receives reports related to smuggling crimes and violations of the Unified Customs Law in complete confidentiality, with a financial reward offered to the informant if the information in the report is accurate.
