Forecasted Temperatures and Weather Conditions for Monday, March 3rd, 2025

The National Center of Meteorology has forecasted thunderstorms today in parts of Makkah, Al-Madinah, and southern coastal areas of Tabuk. The rain could be heavy with a risk of flash floods, accompanied by hail showers and strong winds causing dust storms. The impact of the active dusty winds will also be felt in Riyadh, Najran, eastern parts of Asir, and Al-Baha extending to western parts of Hail and Al-Jouf.

The report mentioned that surface winds over the Red Sea will shift from northeast to southeast in the morning, changing to southwest to northwest in the afternoon at a speed of 20-40 km/h, reaching up to 60 km/h during thunderstorm formation in the northern and central regions. In the southern region, winds will be southeast to south at 25-55 km/h. The sea conditions will be moderate to rough, with wave heights ranging from half a meter to two meters in the northern and central areas, increasing to over two meters during thunderstorms. In the southern region, wave heights will range from one to two and a half meters. The wind pattern over the Arabian Gulf will be north to northwest at a speed of 20-45 km/h, with wave heights ranging from half a meter to one and a half meters in the north, and from one and a half meters to two and a half meters in the central and southern areas. Sea conditions will be light to moderate in the north and moderate to rough in the central and southern regions.
