Crown Prince Welcomes Lebanese President for High-Level Talks

His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, received the President of the Lebanese Republic, His Excellency President Michel Aoun, at the Royal Court in the Al Yamamah Palace in Riyadh yesterday. The official reception ceremony was held for His Excellency President Aoun.

The Crown Prince and President Aoun held official talks during the meeting. The Crown Prince welcomed President Aoun to the Kingdom, wishing him and his entourage a pleasant stay. President Aoun expressed his gratitude for the generous hospitality and warm reception.

The discussions during the meeting covered the latest developments in Lebanon and the region, as well as the efforts being made towards them. They also reviewed the bilateral relations between the Kingdom and Lebanon, and ways to enhance and support them.

Among those present at the reception were His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, a State Minister and member of the Council of Ministers; His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh region; His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Sports; His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior; His Royal Highness Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Minister of the National Guard; His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Defense; His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs; and Minister of State and Member of the Council of Ministers and National Security Advisor Dr. Musaid bin Mohammed Al-Aiban. Also in attendance were Minister of Commerce Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al Qasabi and Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Fahd bin Abdullah, as well as the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Lebanese Republic, Walid Bukhari.

On the Lebanese side, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Mr. Yusuf Raji and Ambassador of Lebanon to the Kingdom Dr. Fawzi Kabbara were present, along with several high-ranking officials from the Lebanese Presidency.
