Ministry of Islamic Affairs Holds Meeting with “For Their Sake” Association

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance held a meeting today with the “For Them” association for serving people with disabilities. The aim was to enhance mutual cooperation in serving this group and empowering them in the fields of religious and guidance services. The meeting was attended by His Highness Prince Faisal bin Abdulrahman bin Fahd, the CEO of the association, and representatives from the ministry including Dr. Leila Al-Qasim, the ministry’s Deputy Minister for Planning and Digital Transformation, Sheikh Saud Al-Ghamdi, the Deputy Minister for Dawah and Guidance Affairs, and Sheikh Turki Al-Anqari, the Director of Initiatives and Partnerships at the ministry.
During the meeting, ways to enhance religious services for people with disabilities were discussed. This includes incorporating the ministry’s religious programs into the Taibian Quran application for the deaf and allowing the association to participate in the ministry’s Ramadan exhibition to showcase its programs and services. Additionally, there will be collaboration in translating and interpreting the Quran into multiple languages in coordination with the Islamic University to ensure its meanings reach different groups.
This meeting falls within the framework of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs’ keenness to support community efforts to serve people with disabilities and enhance partnerships with specialized entities. This is in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 to empower this segment of society and enhance their role in the community.
