The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, represented by the Religious Attaché at the Saudi Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, carried out two programs on the fourth day of Ramadan 1446 AH. These programs were part of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ gift to distribute dates and iftar meals to fasting individuals in Kosovo during the blessed month of Ramadan. The distribution took place at Alaa Al-Din High School in the capital city of Pristina, with the presence of Consul Sultan Al-Sahli from the Saudi Embassy in Albania and the Grand Mufti, President of the Islamic Community in Kosovo, Sheikh Naim Ternava.

Approximately 20,000 beneficiaries received 5 tons of dates, while about 6,000 Muslims benefited from the iftar program throughout the month of Ramadan. The Religious Attaché at the Saudi Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Amer Al-Anzi, explained that these programs reaffirm the Kingdom’s steady commitment to leading Islamic work. They also represent a generous royal gesture by the Kingdom’s leadership in caring for Muslims, showing their love and clear support provided to Muslims worldwide.

The Grand Mufti, Sheikh Naim Ternava, stated that the Kingdom has had a significant historical and humanitarian relationship with Kosovo in various humanitarian, developmental, economic, social, and religious fields. He emphasized that these annual programs offered by the Kingdom are the greatest proof of its keenness to address the needs of Muslims. He expressed a prayer for Allah to reward the Kingdom’s leadership for their continuous efforts in serving Islam and Muslims, especially in Kosovo.
