The Mayor of Medina Extends Gratitude to Leadership for Launching and Supporting Fifth Edition of National Charity Campaign

Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah Region, expressed gratitude on behalf of the people and officials of the region to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, for launching the fifth edition of the national charity campaign through the “Ehsan” national charity platform and generously supporting it with a donation of 70 million Saudi Riyals.

His Highness emphasized that the generous donation of 40 million Saudi Riyals from King Salman and 30 million Saudi Riyals from Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman reflects the wise leadership’s commitment and continuous support to enhance charitable work, promoting values related to giving and social solidarity. This contributes to the development of the non-profit sector, encourages active participation in humanitarian initiatives, and meets the needs of deserving groups transparently and reliably.

Prince Salman praised the achievements of the “Ehsan” platform since its launch, which has become a leading model in charitable work by facilitating donation processes and ensuring they reach their beneficiaries according to the highest technological and regulatory standards. This enhances the impact of charitable giving in various fields.

He prayed for the protection of King Salman, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and for the nation to continue to be blessed with security, stability, and prosperity. He also asked for the best reward for those involved in this charitable and humanitarian project, as well as all contributors, hoping that their efforts will be accounted for as good deeds.
