Significant Rainfall Hits 7 Regions in the Past 24 Hours, Eastern Province Records Highest Precipitation Rate of 6.2mm

The Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture’s daily report revealed that during the period from 9:00 am on Monday, March 10 to 9:00 am on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, “21” hydrological and climatological monitoring stations in all regions of the Kingdom recorded scattered rainfall. The report indicated that the highest amount of rainfall was recorded by the Hafar Al-Batin station in the Eastern region with “6.2” mm, followed by Ras Mish’al in Al-Khobar with “2.2” mm, and the Al-Raqai Border Guard in Hafar Al-Batin with “1.8” mm. Additionally, Marikha Border Guard in Ras Tanura and the Al-Olya Train Station in Al-Olya recorded “1.6” mm each.
The Northern Borders region recorded “6.0” mm in Shu’bah, Rafha Governorate, and “2.6” mm in Umm Al-Khansaa, Arar. In Tabuk, “3.3” mm was recorded in King Salman Reserve, “1.8” mm in Al-Asafiyyah, and “1.6” mm in Al-Disah, all in Teima. Riyadh recorded “3.4” mm in Aseela, Wadi Al-Dawasir.
The report also mentioned that Al-Jawf recorded “1.6” mm in Khoo’a, Sakaka, “1.4” mm in Dumat Al-Jandal, and “1.0” mm in Tabarjal. In Hail, “4.8” mm was recorded in Al-Shiha, Buqayq, while Asir witnessed “0.5” mm of rainfall in Tathleeth.
