The Human Resources Development Fund has announced that 13,065 citizens benefited from the “Professional Certificates” program last year, receiving around 114.4 million Riyals in financial compensation. The Fund supports 268 certificates in various fields and specialties within the Professional Certificates Support program, in response to labor market demands to equip national workforce with new cognitive and professional skills that enhance productivity.
The Professional Certificates Support program complements other Fund programs aimed at enhancing national workforce efficiency, promoting professional training based on international standards, increasing competitiveness by specializing and professional development, and creating job opportunities through development and rehabilitation.
To qualify for support from the Fund, individuals must have a recognized professional certificate listed on the program’s website and affirm that their employer will not cover the costs of obtaining it if the applicant is employed. Payment from the Fund is based on compensating individuals who have obtained professional certificates according to the specified costs on the Fund’s website HRDF.org.sa. Applicants must submit a claim along with a copy of their professional certificate, which will then be verified for authenticity and the costs will be directly transferred to their registered bank account.
