الهيئة العامة للغذاء والدواء تنظم اجتماع مهم مع شركات يابانية

The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) recently conducted a roundtable meeting with a group of companies in Japan. The meeting was attended by the SFDA’s CEO, Dr. Hisham bin Saad Al-Jadai, and representatives of Japanese companies operating in the food, drug, medical devices, and supplies sectors. During the meeting, the SFDA discussed its role in regulating food, drugs, and medical devices. They also highlighted programs and initiatives aimed at supporting and empowering local and international investors, as well as promoting investment in the Kingdom in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
Discussions during the meeting included reviewing promising investment opportunities in the Kingdom, especially in sectors related to the SFDA’s work. The CEO emphasized the importance of facilitating procedures and the SFDA’s commitment to supporting and encouraging investment in its areas of expertise. This includes improving regulatory environments, developing supportive policies, and providing facilitation services to ensure products enter the Kingdom according to the highest international standards.
The meeting took place during the SFDA delegation’s visit to Japan to participate in the 27th annual meeting of the International Medical Device Regulators Forum (IMDRF). This meeting further strengthens the bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and Japan, which have been witnessing continuous growth and development in various fields, including healthcare, technology, and investments.
