King Fahd National Library Showcases its Major Works at 2025 London International Book Fair

The King Fahd National Library’s interest in promoting its mission of acquiring, organizing, documenting, and showcasing Saudi intellectual production is evident in its participation in the Saudi Arabia Pavilion at the 2025 London International Book Fair. Led by the Literature, Publishing, and Translation Authority, the library’s participation highlights various aspects of its work and contributions in the fields of knowledge and science. This includes showcasing the Manuscripts and Rare Books section, displaying a collection of cultural and intellectual treasures owned by the library, as well as the Depository and Registration section, which illustrates the library’s role in documenting and preserving Saudi intellectual and cultural production. Additionally, the Educational Screen section presents informative videos about the library, its services, and activities.
The efforts of the library in manuscript restoration are highlighted through demonstrations of the restoration process for visitors, while technology is utilized to facilitate visitors’ access to the services offered.
The King Fahd National Library aims to introduce visitors to the history and intellectual production of Saudi Arabia at the exhibition, shedding light on the kingdom’s legacy of manuscripts, scientific books, and images that embody its history. This participation serves as a continuation of the library’s effective and distinguished presence in international book fairs.
