King Salman Center for Relief celebrates International Women’s Day in Za’atari Camp, Jordan

The Saudi Center for Community Service, a part of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, celebrated International Women’s Day on March 8th in the Zaatari refugee camp in Jordan. In honor of this day, the center organized various workshops in the training section to guide female beneficiaries on starting productive projects, encouraging them to invest in their skills and utilize them in suitable fields. The workshops covered areas such as sewing, hand and machine embroidery, woolen clothing weaving, and cooking. These projects ensured a source of income for refugee families and emphasized the influential role of women in society through several sessions.
This initiative is part of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center’s efforts to raise awareness among Zaatari camp residents about the vital role of women in the workforce, their effective contributions to community development, and the promotion of human development.
