Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the governor of Al-Madinah region, has launched the “Bridge of Hope” campaign as the honorary president of the National Committee for the Care of Prisoners, Parolees, and their Families “Tarahum”. The event took place in the presence of the assistant deputy for development affairs in the region’s Emirate, and the chairman of the committee’s board of directors, Engineer Majed Al-Harbi, and the executive director of the committee, Emad Al-Jarfali, coinciding with the submission of the committee’s annual report for the year 2024.
The campaign aims to encourage residents of the region to contribute to supporting the most needy groups, especially the families of prisoners and parolees, by providing the necessary support to enhance their financial, psychological, and social stability, and to empower them in the areas of education, training, and employment, in order to reintegrate them into society.
