Islamic Affairs Department Hosts Ramadan Iftar in Solo, Indonesia

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs implemented a Ramadan Iftar banquet today as part of King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud’s program to provide meals for fasting individuals in the city of Solo, located in Central Java, Indonesia.

The banquet, attended by over 20,000 fasting individuals, covered an area of 2800 meters in the Manahan sports field in the city center. It was prepared by 20 local restaurants under the supervision of nearly 590 supervisors and workers. The ministry also equipped the site with all necessary facilities to ensure the safety and comfort of the attendees. This included providing canopies for protection from rain, 15 ambulances, a cleaning and maintenance company, as well as a security team to manage the crowds and organize the distribution of meals along the banquet site.
