Thunderstorms to persist across most regions until next Monday

The General Directorate of Civil Defense has urged caution and emphasized the importance of staying in safe places, avoiding areas prone to flash floods and valleys, refraining from swimming in them, and adhering to the instructions announced through various media outlets and social media platforms, due to the continued thunderstorms across most regions of the Kingdom until next Monday.
The region of Mecca is expected to experience moderate to heavy rain leading to flash floods, hail, and gusty winds causing dust storms and dust in Rania, Turubah, Al-Muwayh, and Al-Khurma. The rain will be light to moderate in Taif, Maysan, Adham, and Al-Ardhiyat, and light in the holy capital, Al-Jumum, and Al-Kamil.
The Riyadh region will experience moderate to heavy rain resulting in flash floods, hail, and gusty winds causing dust storms and dust in Afif, Al-Dawadmi, Al-Gway’iyah, Al-Rin, Shaqra, Al-Ghat, Murrat, Al-Zulfi, Al-Majma’ah, Thadiq, Huraymila. The rain will be moderate in the capital, Al-Dariyah, Dharma, Al-Muzahimiyah, Rumah, Al-Kharj, Al-Dalam, Al-Hariq, Harimlah, and light to moderate in Wadi Al-Dawasir, Al-Sulayyil, and Al-Aflaj.
The Civil Defense Directorate also stated that the regions of Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah, Asir, Hail, and Qassim will experience moderate to heavy rain, with moderate rain in the Eastern region, and light to moderate rain in the regions of Tabuk, Al-Baha, Jazan, and Najran.
