23865 Violators Arrested Across Various Regions of the Kingdom in One Week

A total of 23,865 violators of residency, work, and border security regulations were apprehended by joint field campaigns conducted throughout the Kingdom from March 6 to March 12, 2025. The detailed results of these campaigns are as follows:

Firstly, the total number of violators apprehended during the security field campaigns in all regions of the Kingdom was 23,865. Among them, 16,644 were violators of residency regulations, 3,896 were violators of border security regulations, and 3,325 were violators of work regulations.

Secondly, a total of 1,432 individuals were apprehended while attempting to cross the borders into the Kingdom. 29% of them were Yemeni nationals, 67% were Ethiopian nationals, and 4% were of other nationalities. Additionally, 97 individuals were apprehended for attempting to cross the borders out of the Kingdom illegally.

Thirdly, 13 individuals involved in transporting, accommodating, employing violators of residency, work, and border security regulations, as well as harboring them, were apprehended.

Fourthly, a total of 39,976 violators, including 36,307 men and 3,669 women, are currently undergoing procedures for implementing the regulations.

Fifthly, 32,825 violators were referred to their diplomatic missions to obtain travel documents, 2,311 violators were referred to complete their travel bookings, and 10,331 violators were deported.

The Ministry of Interior emphasized that anyone facilitating the entry of border security violators into the Kingdom, transporting them within the country, providing them shelter, offering any form of assistance or service, faces penalties including up to 15 years in prison, a fine of up to one million riyals, confiscation of the means of transport and accommodation used for sheltering, in addition to public defamation. It clarified that this crime is considered a serious offense warranting arrest, tarnishing honor and trust, urging the public to report any violations to the emergency numbers in Makkah, Riyadh, and the Eastern region at 911, and to 999 and 996 in other areas of the Kingdom.
