The National Center of Meteorology has forecasted that today, there will be continued thunderstorms accompanied by hail showers and strong winds causing dust and sand to be stirred up in parts of Riyadh, Najran, Jazan, Asir, Makkah, and Al-Madinah regions.
The report also indicated that the surface winds over the Red Sea will be northwesterly to north at a speed of 10-30 km/h in the northern and central parts, and southeasterly to southwesterly at a speed of 20-40 km/h in the southern part, with wave heights ranging from one to two meters and the sea state to be light to moderate. On the other hand, the surface winds over the Arabian Gulf will be southwesterly to northwesterly at a speed of 10-25 km/h, with wave heights ranging from half a meter to one meter, and a light sea state.
