Night prayers observed on first night of last ten days at Prophet’s Mosque

In the first night of the last ten days of Ramadan this year, worshippers performed the Taraweeh and Tahajjud prayers at the Prophet’s Mosque in Medina. The scenes captured by the camera showed the faithful flowing into the corridors and squares, leading to the mosque. The footage depicted worshippers immersed in faith, some praying, others reciting the Quran, all experiencing tranquility and humility in a serene atmosphere, thanks to the comprehensive services provided by the government. People flocked to the mosque to pray in an environment filled with security, safety, and spirituality.
The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque prepared the sites and facilities within the Prophet’s Mosque in coordination with various relevant departments and entities to offer all necessary services to worshippers for them to perform their worship with ease. This included opening the doors of the mosque, preparing its courtyards and surfaces to welcome worshippers, taking care of maintenance, cleanliness, and operations, as well as increasing the workforce and machinery to ensure all tasks were carried out efficiently. Additionally, employees were deployed to organize crowds and open pathways for people’s convenience.
