The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center distributed 100 food baskets in Qatana city in the Rif Dimashq Governorate in Syria yesterday. The distribution benefited 100 families as part of the Ramadan food basket project for the year 1446 AH in Syria.
It is worth mentioning that the “I’taam” project aims, in its fourth phase, to distribute 390,109 food baskets in 27 countries during the month of Ramadan. This initiative will benefit 2,304,104 individuals at a cost exceeding 67,064,000 Saudi Riyals.
This effort is part of the humanitarian and relief projects provided by the Kingdom through its humanitarian arm, the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid, to ensure food security in many sisterly and friendly countries around the world.
