The Saudi stock market index closed higher today, gaining 83.31 points to finish at 11778.08 points, with trading value reaching 4.2 billion riyals. The total volume of traded shares was 174 million, with 134 companies recording an increase in their stock value, while 106 companies saw a decrease in their stock value.
Leading the gains were shares of companies like Masar, Nesaj, Eastern Pipes, Sadara, and United International Holding. On the other hand, shares of companies like Anabeeb, Muscat, Care, Dar Al-Arkan, and Taameer saw the biggest declines in trading, with percentage fluctuations ranging between 30% and 4.68%.
Companies like Americana, Baha, Masar, Saudi Aramco, and Al Rajhi were the most active in terms of volume, while Al Rajhi, Saudi Aramco, Masar, STC, and Al Ahli were the most active in terms of value.
The parallel Saudi stock market index, “Nomu,” also closed higher today, gaining 75.17 points to reach 30610.63 points, with trading value amounting to 36 million riyals and a total volume of 2.5 million shares traded.
