Anti-Drug Efforts Thwart Trafficking of Large Quantities of Marijuana in Hail and Asir Regions

The General Directorate for Drug Control in Hail arrested two citizens for trafficking drugs, specifically hashish. The individuals were detained, legal actions were taken against them, and they were referred to the public prosecution. In a separate incident in Asir, the same directorate apprehended two citizens who were distributing 9 kilograms of hashish. They were also detained, faced legal consequences, and were sent to the public prosecution for further action.

Authorities urge the public to report any information regarding drug trafficking or distribution by contacting 911 in Makkah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Region, and 999 in other areas of the Kingdom.
