The Royal Court issued the following statement today: “Statement from the Royal Court.” Today, Thursday, His Excellency Dr. Matlub bin Abdullah Al-Nafisa passed away. Funeral prayers will be held, if God wills, after the Asr prayer tomorrow, Friday, at King Khalid Mosque in Riyadh.
The deceased, may God have mercy on him, was one of the state’s dignitaries who served their religion, king, and country with dedication and sincerity. He held several positions, the latest being a State Minister and member of the Council of Ministers.
May God bless him with His mercy, forgiveness, and pleasure, and grant him entry into His spacious gardens. We belong to God and to Him we shall return.
