Today’s weather report from the National Center of Meteorology predicts thunderstorms accompanied by hail showers and strong winds stirring up dust and sand in the regions of Jazan, Asir, Al Baha, Makkah, Al Madinah, Hail, Tabuk, Al Jawf, and Northern Borders.
The report highlights that surface winds over the Red Sea will be southeast to southwest at speeds of 15-35 km/h, reaching over 45 km/h towards the Bab Al Mandab Strait. Wave heights will range from half a meter to a meter in the northern and central parts, and from half a meter to a meter and a half in the southern part, reaching up to two meters towards the Bab Al Mandab Strait. Sea conditions will be light waves in the northern and central parts, and light to moderate waves in the southern part, with waves reaching cresting towards the Bab Al Mandab Strait.
Meanwhile, surface winds over the Arabian Gulf will be northeast to southeast at speeds of 10-25 km/h, with wave heights ranging from half a meter to a meter. Sea conditions will have light waves.
