New Industrial Licenses Granted by Industry Ministry for Aircraft Maintenance and Repair in the Kingdom, Issuing Permits for Two Major Companies

The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources has announced the availability of licenses for the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of aircraft during the first edition of the Saudi Aviation Industry Forum held in Jeddah under the auspices of His Excellency the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Mr. Bandar bin Ibrahim Alkhorayef, and organized by the National Industrial Development Center. The ministry explained that the new industrial licensing activities launched in cooperation with the General Authority of Civil Aviation and the General Authority for Military Industries include various activities such as repairing and maintaining aircraft, repairing and maintaining drones, maintaining and repairing navigation devices and electronic systems, as well as aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul services.

The ministry further clarified that the new licenses enable investors to benefit from the advantages of the industrial license and access the potentials and incentives provided for industrial licenses by the ministry and the system, contributing to the development and localization of the aviation industry sector as one of the key industrial sectors targeted in the national industry strategy.
