Conclusion of Parallel Training Initiative: 122,000 Women Enter Job Market in Various Leadership and Professional Roles

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has successfully concluded the Parallel Training Initiative aimed at enhancing the skills and competencies of women in the workforce. Over 122,000 job seekers benefited from specialized training programs designed to ensure their sustainability in private sector jobs.
The programs covered more than 800 topics in personal and professional skills, delivered through strategic partnerships with over 70 training entities, leading to the issuance of over 280,000 graduation certificates for the participants.
The initiative also achieved high rates of continuity for the beneficiaries in the workforce, with 78% of employees who continued working for at least 12 months.
The results of the Parallel Training Initiative have shown a direct impact on the private sector, benefiting over 46,000 companies from various economic sectors. It has provided new job opportunities for qualified female citizens with the necessary skills currently in demand in the job market.
Furthermore, the initiative supported diverse groups in society, with 3,660 beneficiaries with disabilities benefiting from specialized training programs that helped them enter the job market. Additionally, 2,440 beneficiaries from social security and 1,220 beneficiaries from care centers also benefited from this initiative.
Ultimately, the Parallel Training Initiative serves as a pioneering model in harnessing women’s capabilities, increasing their participation and sustainability in the workforce. It contributes to enhancing their competitiveness and opening up new opportunities for them across different sectors, aligning with Saudi Arabia’s ambitious Vision 2030.
