13 Billion Riyals Generated in Over 210 Million Point of Sale Transactions Across the Kingdom in One Week

During the period from February 16-22, 2025, there were 210.088 million point of sale transactions in the Kingdom, amounting to 13.045 billion Saudi Riyals. This figure was slightly lower than the 13.32 billion Riyals recorded in the previous period. A weekly report from the Saudi Central Bank reveals that the number of transactions for clothing and footwear reached 6.553 million, totaling 873.16 million Riyals. In terms of construction materials and building transactions, there were 1.694 million operations valued at 360.041 million Riyals, while the education sector saw 129,000 transactions worth 123.522 million Riyals.

Additionally, there were 1.109 million transactions for electronic and electrical devices amounting to 170.651 million Riyals. Fuel station transactions reached 16.383 million, valued at 915.084 million Riyals, and healthcare transactions amounted to 7.331 million with a total of 749.698 million Riyals spent. The furniture sector saw 1.386 million transactions equating to 359.354 million Riyals. Transactions in hotels reached 723,000 with a value of 367.052 million Riyals, while public utilities transactions amounted to 717,000 totaling 52.307 million Riyals. Furthermore, jewelry transactions stood at 201,000 transactions amounting to 262.777 million Riyals, and miscellaneous goods and services transactions were at 21.511 million, valued at 1.549 billion Riyals.
