Special Environmental Security Forces Bust Environmental Regulations Violators in Riyadh and Al-Madinah Regions

Special forces of environmental security have apprehended a citizen for violating environmental regulations by entering the Fiyadh and Rawdat protected wildlife areas in King Abdulaziz Royal Reserve in Riyadh region. The necessary legal actions were taken against him.

Additionally, the special forces of environmental security caught a resident, of Yemeni nationality, violating environmental regulations by exploiting deposits in the Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah region. Legal procedures were applied against him. The forces also seized equipment used for excavating and transporting soil.

The forces pointed out that the penalty for entering protected wildlife areas like Fiyadh and Rawdat with vehicles amounts to 2,000 Saudi riyals, urging people to report any instances of environmental or wildlife violations by calling “911” in the regions of Makkah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, or “999” and “996” in other areas of the Kingdom.
