“شهداء” Fund Launches “Wafa” Campaign to Distribute 100,000 Breakfast Meals During Ramadan

The Martyrs, Injured, Prisoners, and Missing Persons Fund launched a campaign named “Wafa” today to distribute 100,000 breakfast meals, averaging over three thousand meals daily during the holy month of Ramadan, in the geographical areas of Makkah and Riyadh. The breakfast project will kick off concurrently with Ramadan, involving the distribution of dry meals near the time of breaking the fast for the fasting individuals in the targeted areas. The proceeds will benefit the martyrs, injured, prisoners, and missing persons who sacrificed their lives in defense of religion and nation.

The project aims to encourage community participation by providing charitable works through the fund, ensuring that the beneficiaries receive the rewards. This initiative will contribute to activating various community partnerships targeted by the fund. The project is a collaboration between the Martyrs, Injured, Prisoners, and Missing Persons Fund, the Arees Endowment Foundation, and the Reef Association, based on religious duty and amplifying the spiritual essence of the holy month. It embodies the values of solidarity, humanity, and pride, honoring the sacrifices made by the martyrs, injured, prisoners, and missing persons.

The “Wafa” campaign targets specific locations in Makkah, including the external precincts of the Holy Mosque, spread out in various intersections in Makkah and Riyadh, such as the meeting point of King Fahd Road with King Abdullah Road, King Fahd Road with Anas Bin Malik Road, and King Abdullah Road with Khalid Bin Walid Road.
