Haramain Care Authority Hosts ‘First House’ Exhibition in Al-Masjid Al-Haram in 10 Languages during Ramadan

The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque is organizing an exhibition called “The First House” in 10 languages during this year’s blessed Ramadan season. The exhibition will be held in the third Saudi expansion of the Grand Mosque, aiming to shed light on the history of the construction of the Kaaba through the ages, starting from the time of the Prophet Ibrahim until the present day.
This exhibition will provide a unique opportunity for visitors and pilgrims to explore the stages of building the Kaaba through visual presentations, motion graphics, historical artifacts, and interactive screens providing information in Arabic and English. This will enrich the knowledge experience for all attendees. The organization of this exhibition is part of the efforts of the Presidency to educate Muslims about the history of the Grand Mosque and its holy landmarks using interactive technologies that allow visitors to observe detailed information about the Kaaba and its history.
The exhibition will cover several key aspects, including the story of the construction of the Kaaba, the changes it has undergone over the ages, the tools used in its maintenance and washing, the stages of making its coverings, and highlighting the landmarks of the Kaaba. The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque invites those visiting the Grand Mosque during the holy month to visit the exhibition and interact with its unique contents, enriching their experience. This exhibition is part of the efforts of the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques to enhance the experience of the guests of the Merciful and educate Muslims about the history of the Grand Mosque and the Kaaba.
