Prince of Tabuk Region Presides Over Annual Day of Giving Event, Honoring Winning Associations of Tabuk Giving Award.

Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Fahd bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Tabuk Region, the annual gathering of charitable organizations in the region, known as “Charity Day”, was held today at the main reception hall in the Emirate. The event was attended by His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Saud bin Abdullah Al Faisal Al Saud, the Deputy Governor of the region.
The ceremony began with a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by a speech delivered by Dr. Walid Al-Juhani, the President of the Council of Charitable Associations in Tabuk. He emphasized the support and attention that the nonprofit sector in the Kingdom receives from the government of King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. This support has propelled the Kingdom to the forefront of charitable work, in line with the goals of Vision 2030.
Dr. Al-Juhani highlighted the achievements of charitable organizations in the region, including significant initiatives aimed at serving beneficiaries. These organizations have been able to offer a variety of services that enhance their standing and fulfill their noble mission. He expressed gratitude to Prince Fahd for his sponsorship and care for all charitable associations in the region, praying that their efforts would be rewarded in the sight of God.
A visual presentation showcasing the accomplishments of the associations in the region during the past year was then presented.
In a closing statement to the press, Prince Fahd expressed pride in the generosity displayed by Saudis, as evidenced by the more than 900 million Saudi riyals raised by the Ehsan platform. This project, initiated and supported by King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, along with the participation of the Saudi people, channels its proceeds to deserving beneficiaries through official channels. Prince Fahd noted that charitable work is integral to the lives of the people in this region, reflecting their love for goodness and cooperation in meeting the needs of others, which is characteristic of the people of Tabuk. He thanked everyone for their past and ongoing efforts, emphasizing that ambition should know no bounds.
Prince Fahd affirmed that Saudi Arabia is currently experiencing a prosperous era aligned with the goals of Vision 2030, overseen personally by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. He called for continued blessings and preservation of the country’s leadership and security.
Furthermore, Prince Fahd honored the winning associations of the third edition of the Tabuk Award for Giving in four categories: Heroes Charity Association for Orphans in Umluj for Financial Sustainability, the Volunteer Work Charity Association in Tabuk for Innovative Initiatives, the Family Development Association in Tabuk for Institutional Excellence, and the King Khalid Women’s Association in Tabuk for Empowerment. He also commended the supporters of the award for their contributions.
