Makkah Health Center Conducts 217 Heart Catheterizations During First Third of Ramadan at Al Noor Specialized Hospital

During the first third of the holy month of Ramadan in the year 1446, the Cardiac Catheterization Department at Al Noor Specialized Hospital, a member of the Makkah Health Association, successfully performed over 217 heart catheterizations. The department carried out these procedures efficiently, including 20 operations for patients who were pilgrims visiting the holy Kaaba.

The Makkah Health Association emphasized that this achievement reflects the high efficiency of the medical staff at the hospital and their commitment to providing high-quality healthcare for heart patients, whether they are citizens, residents, or pilgrims. It is worth mentioning that the Cardiac Catheterization Department at the hospital consists of two catheterization labs and 11 beds, including 7 beds for day procedures and 4 recovery beds.

The medical team includes cardiac catheterization consultants, anesthesia consultants, anesthesia specialists, 4 radiology technicians, 3 anesthesia technicians, and 15 nursing staff. This team worked diligently to ensure the success of these procedures and provide exceptional care for all patients in need of cardiac catheterization services.
