Newly-appointed ambassadors to key allied countries take oath before the King and Crown Prince

In representation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud – may God support him – ambassadors newly appointed to several sisterly and friendly countries had the honor of taking an oath before His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister – may God protect him, in his office at Al Salam Palace in Jeddah. Those who took the oath included the Ambassador to the Hellenic Republic (Greece) / Ali bin Abdulrahman bin Yusuf, the Ambassador to the Argentine Republic / Hatem bin Gharim Allah Al-Ghamdi, the Ambassador to the Swiss Confederation / Abdulrahman bin Arkan Al-Dawood, the Ambassador to the United Republic of Comoros / Mohammed bin Grahame Al-Shamrani, the Ambassador to the Republic of Maldives / Yahya bin Hassan Al-Qahtani, the Ambassador to the Eastern Republic of Uruguay / Sultan bin Ali Al-Muzaini, the Ambassador to the People’s Republic of Bangladesh / Abdullah bin Dhafar bin Ubeih, the Ambassador to the Republic of Mozambique / Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Wahib, and the Ambassador to the United Mexican States / Fahad bin Ali Al-Manawar. They all pledged: “I swear by Almighty God to be loyal to my religion, then my king and country, not to disclose any state secrets, to preserve its interests and systems internally and externally, and to perform my duties with sincerity, honesty, and dedication”. The swearing-in ceremony was attended by His Highness Prince Faisal bin Fahad bin Abdullah, the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
