Full Moon Shines Brightly Over Rafha in Northern Borders on the 15th Night of Ramadan

The full moon was seen on the fifteenth night of the holy month of Ramadan in the city of Rafha, located in the Northern Borders region. This marks the halfway point of the moon’s monthly orbit around the Earth and is the closest full moon to the spring equinox in the northern hemisphere.
According to Barjas Al-Faleh, a member of the “Horizons” Astronomy Society, the moon began to rise from the eastern horizon as the sun set, reaching its highest point in the sky after midnight. It will complete its journey with the sunrise on Saturday along the western horizon. As the days progress, the moon’s appearance will gradually shift by about an hour each day, eventually only being visible during the predawn and early morning hours in the coming days. It will reach its final stage a week after reaching full moon status, completing another cycle of its monthly phases.
