Over half a million pilgrims benefit from transportation services at the Grand Mosque during first 15 days of Ramadan.

The transportation service at the Grand Mosque welcomed over 522,634 users during the first half of the month of Ramadan in an exceptional season that has seen a qualitative development in the services provided to the guests of Allah. Beneficiaries were able to utilize an advanced system that ensured a more seamless and convenient transportation experience.
The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque provided pilgrims and worshippers with the option to pre-book carts through the “Unified Mobility” platform, representing a significant advancement in simplifying the reservation process. Users were able to choose the mode of transportation that suits them, whether it be golf carts, paid manual carts, or free carts, while specifying the destination, date, and appropriate time. Furthermore, electronic payment and comprehensive technical support were available to ensure a smooth experience.
This development coincided with the launch of the enhanced paid carts, which were utilized by 86,399 users. Additionally, the electric “golf” carts served 421,144 beneficiaries, while 15,091 individuals benefited from the free manual carts, reflecting the significant updates that the transportation service within the Grand Mosque has undergone.
