Over 193 Million Point of Sale Transactions Recorded in the Kingdom, Exceeding 13 Billion Riyals in Just One Week

During the period from March 9th to March 15th, 2025, the number of point of sale transactions in the Kingdom reached 193.126 million, amounting to 13.623 billion Saudi riyals. This represented a slight increase from the previous period. According to the weekly report from the Saudi Central Bank, the number of transactions in clothing and footwear totaled 9.811 million with a value of 1.507 billion riyals. Transactions in construction materials and building supplies amounted to 1.628 million, totaling 307.944 million riyals, while transactions in education accounted for 98,000, valuing 140.655 million riyals.
Moreover, transactions in electronics and electrical appliances reached 1.119 million, totaling 150.523 million riyals. Fuel station transactions amounted to 15.089 million, totaling 865.804 million riyals, with health-related transactions reaching 7.690 million, totaling 837.288 million riyals. Additionally, transactions in furniture amounted to 1.442 million, totaling 320.680 million riyals, while hotel transactions reached 649,000, valuing 352.694 million riyals.
General utilities transactions accounted for 834,000, totaling 54.897 million riyals, while jewelry transactions amounted to 300,000, valuing 419.215 million riyals. Diverse goods and services transactions reached 21.502 million, with a total value of 1.667 billion riyals. The data reflects a diverse range of economic activities occurring throughout the Kingdom during the given period.
