The General Presidency of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque Welcomes Masses of Worshipers at the Prophet’s Mosque.

The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has started receiving groups of worshipers who are observing Itikaf in the last ten days of Ramadan in the Prophet’s Mosque. The Presidency has prepared various services and facilities for the worshipers, including providing water, serving Iftar and Suhoor meals, offering hot and cold beverages, and maintaining cleanliness for both men and women in Itikaf. Additionally, a comprehensive medical clinic has been set up to ensure the health and safety of the worshipers, along with providing them with gifts and organizing a series of educational and guidance lectures in several languages.

It is emphasized that the worshipers in Itikaf must adhere to the specified regulations and instructions while staying in the Prophet’s Mosque. Field committees have been assigned to monitor the guidance and directions provided to the worshipers to ensure their comfort and peace of mind, and to offer complete care to all visitors of the Prophet’s Mosque.

It should be noted that the western area has been allocated for male worshipers in Itikaf, accessible through doors with stairs numbers “6” and “10”, while the northeastern section and entrance doors “24” and “25 A” have been designated for female worshipers in Itikaf.
