Prime Minister of Pakistan Islamic Republic leaves Medina for Mecca for Umrah pilgrimage

The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mohammad Shahbaz Sharif, left the city of Medina today heading to Mecca to perform the Umrah pilgrimage. Earlier, he visited the Prophet’s Mosque, prayed there, and had the honor of greeting the Prophet Muhammad and his companions. Before his departure from the Al Haramain railway station in Medina, he was bid farewell by the Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan, Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Maliki, and the Director of the Royal Ceremonies Office in the region, Ibrahim bin Abdullah Bari, along with other officials.
