Eid al-Fitr prayers to be held at all holiday prayer sites and mosques 15 minutes after sunrise.

Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dr. Abdulatif Al al-Sheikh, instructed all branches of the ministry in the regions of the Kingdom to hold the Eid ul-Fitr prayers for the year 1444 AH at all prayer grounds and mosques, except for those adjacent to the prayer grounds and mosques not attended by worshipers in some centers and villages who will use their own prayer grounds for the Eid prayers.
This directive emphasized the importance of early preparation for holding the Eid ul-Fitr prayers and ensuring that all prayer grounds are equipped with necessary services including maintenance, cleanliness, and operation, so that worshipers can perform their rituals comfortably and peacefully.
Moreover, the directive specified the time for the Eid prayer to be a quarter of an hour after sunrise according to the Umm al-Qura calendar in all regions of the Kingdom.
It is worth mentioning that there are a total of 19,887 mosques and prayer grounds across the regions of the Kingdom being fully prepared with carpets, maintenance, and cleanliness according to the highest quality standards to enable worshipers to perform their religious duties in a spiritual atmosphere.
