Border guards in Jazan and Asir regions foil smuggling of 280 kilograms of narcotic qat plants

Border patrols in the Al-Dair sector of Jazan region apprehended 4 Ethiopian nationals for smuggling 80 kilograms of khat. The necessary legal procedures were carried out against them, and they were handed over to the competent authorities along with the seized items.

Additionally, border patrols in the Al-Dair sector of Jazan foiled an attempt to smuggle 108 kilograms of khat. Legal procedures were initiated, and the seized items were handed over to the relevant authorities.

In the Rboah sector of Asir region, border patrols arrested 4 individuals for smuggling 92 kilograms of khat, including Yemeni and Ethiopian nationals. Similar legal actions were taken against them, and they were handed over, along with the confiscated items, to the appropriate authorities.
