Additionally, there will be thunderstorms accompanied by strong winds and hail showers in Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, and Makkah.
The report indicated that the surface winds over the Red Sea will be north-easterly to north-westerly at a speed of 20-40 km/h in the northern and central parts, and north-westerly to westerly at a speed of 15-35 km/h reaching more than 50 km/h with the formation of rain-bearing thunderclouds in the southern part. The wave height will range from one to two meters in the northern and central parts, and from half a meter to one and a half meters reaching over two and a half meters with the formation of rain-bearing thunderclouds in the southern part. The sea condition will be light to moderate waves, reaching rough seas with the formation of rain-bearing thunderclouds in the southern part. On the Arabian Gulf, the surface winds will be north-westerly at a speed of 25-50 km/h, with wave heights ranging from one and a half to three meters, and sea conditions moderate to rough waves.
