Health Minister Inspects Several Healthcare Facilities in the Holy Capital in Pursuit of Superior Guest Care

In an effort to ensure the provision of high-quality healthcare for visitors to the holy cities during the increasing numbers of pilgrims, the Minister of Health, Fahd bin Abdul Rahman Al-Jalajel, inspected a number of healthcare facilities in the capital yesterday. The Minister’s tour of the holy capital included a visit to Ajyad Emergency Hospital, which provides emergency and intensive care services. He also visited the Jawar Medical Services Center “Care” and the Haram Emergency Center to assess the readiness of emergency services to respond quickly to urgent cases.

During the tour, the Minister emphasized that providing comprehensive and safe healthcare for pilgrims is a top priority for the healthcare system. He highlighted the ministry’s intensive efforts to ensure the readiness of medical facilities and the integration of healthcare services during the Ramadan and Hajj seasons, in line with the Vision 2030 goals of the Kingdom. These goals focus on enhancing the quality and efficiency of healthcare and providing a safe healthcare environment that reflects the leadership’s concern for human health and safety.

It is worth mentioning that the Minister had previously conducted similar field visits to a number of healthcare facilities in Mecca, including the Saudi German Hospital, Ajyad Emergency Hospital, and Mecca Medical Center. He also reviewed plans to enhance capacity during the Umrah season. He visited the Royal Commission for Mecca and the Holy Sites, as well as the Red Crescent Center and the Emergency Response Center in Khudai to assess the readiness of emergency teams and the integration of services for pilgrims, ensuring their safety and security during their religious duties.
