Anti-corruption authority interrogates 313 suspects, arrests 82 in 5 ministries and agency during current month.

The Control and Anti-Corruption Authority has disclosed its activities in March 2025, conducting 1453 inspection rounds and interrogating 313 suspects, including employees from various government ministries and agencies. Among those questioned were individuals from the ministries of Interior, Defense, Health, Human Resources and Social Development, Municipalities and Housing, as well as the Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority. Additionally, 82 citizens and residents were arrested under the penal procedures law, some of whom were released on bail after being implicated in bribery and abuse of power charges. The authority emphasized the importance of reporting any financial or administrative corruption suspicions to protect public funds through various channels such as a toll-free phone number (980) and their official website. The necessary legal procedures will be completed to refer the suspects to the judiciary for further action.
