King Salman launches “Feeding Ramadan” project in Mali to provide aid

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre launched the “I’tam” Ramadan food project in the Republic of Mali for the year 1446 AH. The project aims to distribute 6,500 food baskets containing essential food items such as rice, oil, pasta, and sugar to reach 43,000 individuals in 4 provinces in Mali. The initiative is part of Saudi Arabia’s efforts, represented by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid Centre, to provide food security in many sisterly and friendly countries around the world. The launch event was attended by the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Mali, Abdullah Bin Saleh Saber, as well as government officials and representatives from various departments in Mali. The distribution of the food baskets will help alleviate hunger and provide much-needed support to vulnerable populations in the country. This initiative underscores Saudi Arabia’s commitment to humanitarian assistance and its desire to support those in need globally.
