Saudi Arabia Condemns Israeli Minister’s Violent Incursion into Al-Aqsa Mosque and Attack on UNRWA Clinic

The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the Israeli Minister of Public Security’s invasion of Al-Aqsa Mosque with the protection of occupation forces, ejecting worshippers. The Ministry reiterated its condemnation of Israel’s continued blatant attacks on the sanctity of the mosque. Additionally, Saudi Arabia condemned the Israeli occupation forces’ targeting of a clinic belonging to the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees in the Jabalia camp in northern Gaza, criticizing the continuous targeting of international humanitarian organizations and their staff.

In a statement, the Ministry expressed its disapproval of Israel’s ongoing violations of international law and humanitarian law, reaffirming its firm rejection of anything that undermines the historical and legal status of Jerusalem and its holy sites. The Ministry emphasized the importance of protecting international humanitarian organizations and their staff, urging the international community to put an end to Israeli war machinery that disregards any human values, laws, or international norms. It called for holding the Israeli occupation authorities accountable for all their violations, warning that the failure of the international community to deter such serious and ongoing violations would diminish the prospects for achieving the desired peace and undermine the credibility and legitimacy of international law, negatively impacting regional and international security and stability.
