Over 15,000 Administrative Decisions Issued by Passports Department Against Violators of Residency, Work, and Border Security Regulations

During the holy month of Ramadan in 1446 AH, the General Directorate of Passports issued 15,135 administrative decisions against citizens and residents for violating residency, work, and border security regulations. The penalties varied between imprisonment, fines, and deportation. The Passports Directorate emphasized that individuals or establishments should not harbor, employ, or shelter violators of residency, work, and border security regulations or provide any assistance in finding employment, housing, or transportation for them. They called for cooperation and reporting of violators by contacting “911” in Makkah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Region, and “999” in the rest of the Kingdom.
