The Qassim Region of Saudi Arabia Reports Highest Rainfall Levels in the Kingdom in the Past 24 Hours

Barefoot and Al-Badayi’ in Al-Qassim region recorded the highest rainfall in the Kingdom with 25.0 mm. A total of 8 regions experienced varying amounts of rainfall, with Onaizah recording 24.6 mm, Al-Shamassiah 22.6 mm, Al-Tajruba in Onaizah 20.8 mm, Al-Bukayriyah and Al-Shanana in Ar Rass 16.5 mm, and Riyadh Al-Khubarah 14.5 mm.
According to the daily report from the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture on rainfall amounts in all regions of the Kingdom, 52 hydrological and climatic monitoring stations recorded rainfall from 9 am on Wednesday, March 5th, to 9 am on Thursday, March 6th, 2025, in Riyadh, Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah, Al-Qassim, Eastern Province, Tabuk, Northern Borders, and Najran.
The report indicated that Riyadh recorded 12.0 mm in Uqlah in Al-Zulfi, 9.0 mm in Al-Zulfi city, 2.2 mm at the Aviation Academy in Riyadh, and 2.0 mm in Rawdat Al-Sablah in Al-Zulfi. Additionally, Ar-Rayyar in Al-Ahsa in the Eastern Province recorded 4.0 mm, Al-Shihyah in Al-Ulya Village recorded 3.9 mm, the Naval Forces Airport in Al-Jubail recorded 3.8 mm, and the train station in Al-Ulya Village recorded 3.6 mm.
The report also showed that Makkah Al-Mukarramah recorded 1.6 mm in Al-Hada, Taif, and 1.4 mm in Taif city. Additionally, Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah recorded 1.2 mm in Khayf Umm Dhiyan in Badr, and 0.6 mm in Badr. Najran recorded 1.0 mm at Najran Airport, Tabuk recorded 0.8 mm in Al-Disah in Duba, and the Northern Borders recorded 0.5 mm at Rafha Airport.
